The Hampton City Council met on Monday, February 1, 2021 at the Hampton City Hall for a special meeting. Present were Mayor Knetter; Council Members Cindy Flodeen, David Luhring, Anthony Verch, and Kati Evertz-Garcia. Also present was Peter Mikhail, Attorney with the law firm LeVander, Gilllen & Miller.
Special Meeting Called to Order - The purpose of the special meeting was to discuss pending litigation with Northfield WiFi. Mayor Knetter called the special meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Adjournment - Motion by Luhring seconded by Verch to adjourn the open session and convene into closed session pursuant to Minn. Stat. 13D.05.subd.3(b) for attorney-client privileged communication to discuss pending litigation with Northfield WiFi. All voted in favor. None opposed. Motion passed 5:0. The open session adjourned at 5:01 p.m.
Adjournment – Motion by Verch seconded by Luhring to adjourn closed session and reopen meeting. All voted in favor. None opposed. Motion passed 5:0. The closed session adjourned at 5:44 p.m.

• JTI Communications – Mayor Knetter stated that, at this time, the Council will pause this matter, and thanked them for their interest.
